Propane Service Technician/Bulk Propane Driver

Position Summary Lund Oil is seeking an experienced safety orientated Propane Service Tech/Driver to join our team. This position is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining propane appliances and systems for residential, commercial, and industrial customers while safely delivering and setting propane tanks. The role also ensures regulatory compliance, accurate recordkeeping, vehicle safety, and exceptional customer service through daily customer interactions and system inspections. Job description - Service Tech Installing, repairing, and maintaining propane appliances and providing service to our residential, commercial, and industrial customers. Perform repairs and adjustments on propane equipment. Drive a flatbed boom truck for delivering and installing propane (LP-Gas) tanks. Install and pressure test gas service lines to make sure the system passes all state and local installation/permit requirements. Inspect vehicle daily and report any problems in accordance with company policy and DOT regulations. Prepare and maintain records in accordance with regulations and company procedures. During daily interaction with customers, provides exceptional customer service by supplying service/safety information and answering inquiries.

Job requirements:

Class B or higher Commercial Drivers License (CDL) containing Hazmat, Tank, and Air Break Endorsements and DOT Medical Card a plus. Ability to pass pre-employment DOT Physical, Drug Test, and Homeland Security Background Check. Good interpersonal skills and willingness to take direction from the Manager. 90 Day Probation Period Propane Installation experience necessary
