Environmental Recycling Technician 4.0 4.0 out of 5 stars 8 Turtle Dr, Wyandotte, OK 74370 From $14.06 an hour - Full-time Wyandotte Nation 6 reviews From $14.06 an hour - Full-time The Wyandotte Nation Government is seeking applications for an Environmental Recycling Technician to join our Planning and Natural Resources Department. The primary responsibility of this position is to assist with the day-to-day tasks required to achieve the environmental objectives outlined in various grant work plans. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and have reliable transportation along with a valid driver's license. An associate degree and one year of experience in a related field, or two years of post-secondary training in a related field, are preferred. Must be able to drive a truck while towing a trailer and have the ability to back up. Prior experience with operating a forklift is required, and candidates must either hold a current Forklift Certification or be willing to obtain one. Physical demands lift up to 25 pounds, buddy lift up to 50 pounds, push and/or pull up to 25 pounds, be exposed to infectious agents, dust, fumes, gases, heights, noise exposure and power equipment. The employee may be frequently required to sit, drive, bend, climb, kneel, crouch, twist, balance, reach, utilize far/near/color vision, depth perception, see fine details, use telephone, calmly cope with anger/fear/hostility of others, demonstrate high degree of patience, adapt to shift work, perform firm grasping, and be exposed to extreme temperature and/or humidity.
