Experienced A/R Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Receivable Management Generate, send, and track customer invoices with accuracy and timeliness Maintain aging reports; monitor overdue accounts and follow up consistently Apply customer payments (ACH, credit card, checks, merchant processors) to correct invoices Manage recurring invoices, retainers, deposits, and progress billing as needed Process credit memos, adjustments, and customer refunds Collections & Customer Communication Conduct professional, proactive outreach on past‐due accounts Maintain documentation of all collection attempts and customer communications Resolve billing discrepancies, disputes, and short‐pays Coordinate with internal teams (sales, project managers, service providers) to resolve invoice issues Required Skills & Experience 3+ years of hands‐on bookkeeping experience , with a strong focus on Accounts Receivable Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online , including custom reporting, bank rules, recurring transactions, and AR workflows Proven experience managing full AR cycles: invoicing, payment application, collections, adjustments, and reconciliations Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all financial entries Ability to manage multiple deadlines and maintain organized AR processes Excellent written and verbal communication for customer outreach and collections Experience with Service Trade, Double, Monday.com, Ops Technology, Paymode, RealPage, Vendor Cafe, AvidXchange, NetVendor Admin, PaymentWorks, or similar platforms is a plus Benefits Paid Holidays Paid Sick Leave Aflac Vision, Dental & Accident 401(k) Retirement Plan Professional development opportunities Supportive, woman-owned business culture Ready to make an impact?
