Job Description

Description:
We are searching for qualified, motivated, energetic staff to join our after school team at our Windham Manchester Elementary school location! Windham Raymond School Age Child Care/Space to Thrive is a nationally accredited, state licensed, non-profit child care program providing before and after school to the children of the Windham and Raymond communities. We provide care within RSU-14 to grades K-5 and provide our staff with plenty of growth and learning opportunities as well as a competitive benefits package. We work hard to cultivate a positive workplace environment and healthy morale among employees. The morning hours are : 6:15am - 8:10am Monday - Friday Afternoon hours are : 2:15pm-6:00pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, and 12:15-6:00 pm on Wednesdays. Additional hours are available including activity planning and preparation, child observations, and more. Those with experience in child care centers, summer camps, or in teaching settings encouraged to apply! Responsibilities /
Expectations:
Collaborate with site coordinator and assistant site coordinator Interact with families daily Provide direct care and supervision of children grades Kindergarten through 5th grade Excellent communication with staff, children, families, and the community Able to work flexibly with a growing team Plan and implement enrichment activities
Requirements:
High School diploma Center based experience with children strongly preferred, willing to train! Pay:
$16.00 - $19.00 per hour based on experience Monthly wage supplement bonus through State of Maine funding ranging from $240 - $540 based on MRTQ lattice level
