Experienced Optician

Overview Twin Peaks Eye Care is a new independent private practice in Northwest Tucson/Marana seeking an experienced optician. We are dedicated to fostering a supportive, team-oriented environment where team members play an important role in building lasting patient relationships through exceptional communication, education, and personalized care. We are looking for an experienced optician with excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the flexibility to grow alongside a new private practice. Team members will also have opportunities to grow with the practice, including involvement in frame selection and optical development. Responsibilities Maintain familiarity with the clinic's optical products, inventory, and services to provide personalized recommendations to patients. Assist patients in selecting eyewear tailored to their prescription, lifestyle, and visual needs. Perform frame fittings, adjustments, and dispensing of glasses and contact lenses. Assist with scheduling, patient communication, and front office tasks as needed. Contribute positively to the growth and development of the practice. Educate patients on proper lens care, frame adjustments, and the importance of follow-up appointments. Adapt and learn in a growing, full-scope private practice environment. Requirements Proven optical experience, including the ability to sell, fit, adjust, and dispense glasses and contact lenses. Familiarity with medical and vision insurance plans, including verification and interpretation of benefits. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Positive attitude and willingness to assist with various tasks that support office efficiency and patient care. Availability to work full-time.
