• Part-time, Full-time Happy Paws Unleashed in Topsham, ME is looking for an experienced Dog Groomer to join our team!

We are seeking a trained and experienced pet groomer (dogs required, cats highly preferred) who is comfortable working in a fast-paced and ever-changing grooming salon environment. Responsibilities will include bathing, drying, brushing, and grooming a variety of species and breeds of all sizes in a wide range of standard, show, and creative grooming styles; participating in the intake and check-out process with clients to assess their specific grooming needs, scheduling appointments, and participating in company-approved upselling procedures; routine cleaning and maintenance of the grooming salon; new customer outreach, and other duties as assigned. Qualifications include, but are not limited to: Minimum of three years working in a professional grooming environment Attention to detail in work and client care Client outreach and education to help maintain the health of their dogs between grooming appointments Ability to multi-task between grooming tasks and client communication. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment that is growing and changing rapidly Ability to use computers and other peripheral electronic devices Excellent customer service and communication skills Our facility has been recently remodeled, and each grooming station has been redesigned for ease of use and ease of cleaning. Our top-notch grooming staff is a small, close-knit group that supports one another and strives to bring the best of their expertise to our clients, both two-legged and four-legged. It is paramount that all members of our team excel at communication and customer service. This position is required to work within a company set schedule, including mornings, afternoons, and Saturday shifts. We are looking for someone who is willing to make at least a one-year commitment to employment.
