Experienced Upholsterers

Responsibilities:

• Upholster furniture pieces according to customer specifications
• Attach upholstery covers to furniture frames using hand tools and power tools
• Install padding, springs, and other materials to provide comfort and support
• Ensure high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail in all upholstery work
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Upholsterer with experience in one of the following operations: arms, backs, first trim for sofas, loveseats, chairs, ottomans and benches.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for upholstery work
• Knowledge of different types of fabrics, materials, and their appropriate uses
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
• Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines
• Physical dexterity and strength for lifting heavy furniture pieces This job is on a production line at a furniture manufacturing plant.
