Extraction Operator

We are seeking Extraction Operators to become part of our team! You will operate extraction equipment to produce the required quantity and quality of product according to specifications as well as following tasks:

• Prepare batch in the extraction tanks.
• Prepare and operate filter press.
• Prepare cleaning solutions used to clean & sanitize equipment used in extraction.
• Clean and change filters used in the filters press .
• Maintain, clean and sanitized the process areas.
• Prepare and operate UF filters.
• Complete cleaning records.
• Operate auger for the transfer of residual product.
• Operate centrifugal equipment used in the process . Available to work rotating shifts; some weekend hours may be required.
• High School diploma or GED
• 1-2 years previous work experience.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, OSHA and HACCP
• Food industry experience a plus
• Optional 5S, GMP and Chemical handling (PPE) knowledge.
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Forklift Certified.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
