Fabricator/Welder

Overview We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in various welding techniques, including Tig welding. This role involves working in a environment, where you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and components according to specifications. You will utilize various tools and equipment, including press brake machines, forming machines, saws and forklifts, to ensure high-quality production standards. Responsibilities Operate welding equipment to join metal parts using mig and tig welding and other techniques. Fabricate metal components based on blueprints and technical drawings. Utilize press brake machines to shape metal sheets as required. Measure dimensions using calipers and micrometers to ensure accuracy. Collaborate with team members on projects to meet deadlines. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning. Run various saws to cut material to the specified length Deweb material as needed Qualifications Proven experience in welding and fabrication within a project type environment Proficiency in forklifts safely. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Familiarity with measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers and tape measures. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team setting. Certification in welding or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
