Elgin Die Mold is looking for a 1st shift Facilities Manager. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that products meet our customers' delivery, quality, and safety expectations. This is a permanent, full-time position, offering a competitive pay and benefits package.Pay:
$100,000 to $140,000 per year Job description:Preferred Skillsets:
Automotive industry background. Experience withIATF 16949
quality systems. Monitor and administer Preventative Maintenance Program for manufacturing equipment. Monitor and administer building and grounds maintenance. Monitor and administer P.M. Program for engineering vehicles. Monitor and replenish production equipment spare parts. Coordinate equipment replacement. Coordinate and prioritize equipment repairs per Work Requisition. Procure consumable supplies for manufacturing areas. Interact and monitor outside service vendors. Coordinate, install, and perform initial startup new equipment. Perform maintenance technician duties when required. Supervise maintenance personnel. Lead safety committee to ensure safe working conditions in the facility. Other duties as directed by supervisor. Grounds maintenance- horticulture HVAC
- refrigeration Building electrical systems, 3 phase Machine electrical supply and circuitry Plumbing
- building and equipment Pneumatics

- ink printing, laser marking Hydraulic systems and components
Administer Preventative Maintenance Program Lead Safety Committee Meetings Manage Spare Parts Inventory Job Tasks:
Complete P.M. program tasks as required. Update P.M. logbooks. Monitor production equipment operation. Coordinate and review P.M. Program. Ensure equipment repairs are performed on time. Participate in cross-functional team meetings. Must be knowledgeable in the functional area being hired for as it relates to the IATF and ISO standards of the organization. Fabrication, power tool operation, machine tools, welding (all types) Controller programming, AB RS 5000 Read schematic diagrams and prints- architectural and machine Vision inspection systems Vehicle maintenance
