Facility Maintenance Technician - 1st shift

Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 1st shift Facility Maintenance Technician to join our team in Oakwood. $$ 3,000 SIGN-ON BONUS $$ (Sign-On Bonus to be paid as $1,000 at thirty days, $1,000 at sixty days and $1,000 at six months. Rehires qualify a year after termination.)

SHIFT HOURS

Monday through Friday 7:00am-4:00pm

STARTING HOURLY RATE

$20.00-$25.00 with a potential increase at 90 days

ADDITIONAL PAY

Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance) All training will be provided.

Job functions include:

Following all biosecurity guidelines to maintain disease free facilities Assisting in eliminating potential safety hazards from the workplace Working with manager to set repair priorities and follow through to see that necessary repairs are made Performing all related preventative and corrective maintenance functions as assigned Being willing to improve skills through training, off-site classes and attain certifications as needed Must be 18 years of age Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and good driving record Techs are responsible for providing their own transportation to job sites Must be proficient in various aspects of remodeling from framing to finish Must have adequate knowledge of plumbing and electrical work Must have experience with steel siding, barn construction and concrete forming Experience with installing exterior parts such as doors, windows and roofing is preferred Cooper Farms consistently works to be more than a workplace to our team members.
