  • Full-time Copia Farm is seeking a hands-on Farm Manager to lead daily operations on a regenerative, pasture-based livestock farm.
This is a leadership role for a capable, grounded, "figure-it-out" person —someone who takes ownership, solves problems as they arise, and holds a high standard for animal care, land stewardship, and production. What This Role Is You are the responsible adult on the farm —the person who ensures things get done, done well, and done consistently.
You will:
Lead by example in daily chores Train and manage team members Troubleshoot issues as they arise Maintain high standards across all operations What You'll Do Milking cows and overseeing raw milk production Managing herd health, production and daily animal observation Rotating cattle on pasture (mob grazing system) Egg collection and poultry care Pig production & handling Loading & hauling livestock Training and leading farm team Tracking production, charting data, and maintaining KPIs Supporting multi-farm / collective farm operations Daily Reality of the Role Physical work is the norm Work happens in all weather conditions Animals come first—every day, no exceptions You will be expected to notice problems and fix them Examples include: electric fencing issues water systems dairy equipment (vacuum pump, etc.) general farm troubleshooting What Matters Most High standard of animal care and attention to detail Reliability and consistency —this role is critical Strong work ethic and ownership mindset Ability to lead, train, and hold others accountable Mechanically inclined / able to troubleshoot and fix problems Good-natured, steady, and solution-oriented Experience Prior experience with milking and livestock management required Familiarity with pasture-based systems preferred Leadership or team management experience is a plus Comfort with tools, systems, and hands-on problem solving About Copia We produce exceptional raw milk and nutrient-dense food through regenerative practices.
