FedEx Business Contact (BC) Manager

A FedEx Corporation Contractor based out of Savannah, GA FedEx Ground Station is looking to hire a Full-Time Manager (internally called a "BC"). Past logistics experience necessary, past FedEx experience a strong plus. Must be reliable, professional, detail-oriented, have strong leadership skills, and have a "can-do" attitude. Responsibilities:

Supervise and lead, on a daily basis, a team of delivery drivers in their day-to-day job functions Guide and mentor this team to ensure all policies and procedures are met, and drive a service culture that exceeds FedEx standards Ensure proper staffing levels are met every day to achieve a 100% completion rate for all delivery stops, package deliveries, pick-up stops, package pick-ups, and time-committed stops Hire and fire as needed Responsible for understanding and estimating the daily service needs, managing equipment needs, dispatching drivers, and optimizing routes for efficiency Ensure adherence to all policies and standards for safety and Human Resources Ensure adherence to all DOT standards Complete daily check lists, and maintain pre and post trip inspection reports done by drivers Manage all technology and applications Liaise with owner daily and as-needed on all matters related to the business Manage and use of technology and applications Have a hands-on approach and a "can-do" attitude to tackle problems on the go, in real-time, as they come up You will be the principal point of contact for this business on a daily basis We are looking for someone with past or present FedEx Delivery Driver experience to fill in delivering when needed or in emergency situations
