Fiber Optic Technician•Full Time Core Fiber Communications•Upland, CA Core Fiber Communications is seeking a hardworking, experienced Fiber Optic Technician for full-time employment. Applicants will be working in construction environments at both aerial and underground job sites during varying shifts — predominantly night shift from 8:00 PM to 4:00 AM. Projects are located throughout the Southern California region and are based out of the Los Angeles / Inland Empire area. Requirements Candidates must have at least 3-5 years of enterprise-level fiber optic splicing experience , including but not limited to: Panel installations (rack-mounted and wall-mounted) Outside plant fiber enclosure installation Familiarity with

COMMSCOPE / TYCO

closures and equipment Operation of fusion splicers, including both single fiber and ribbon splicing machines OTDR and power meter testing Familiarity with EXFO testing equipment preferred Operation of aerial lift boom vans Confined space entry experience (telecom manholes) Troubleshooting existing outside plant fiber networks Additional Requirements Valid driver's license with clean driving record Willingness to travel as needed Ability to work night shifts and construction environments Candidates must be prepared for a practical interview including: Splice enclosure preparation Fusion splicing demonstration Test equipment usage Tools and equipment will be provided.
