Field and Shop Service Technician / CDL Pump Truck Driver

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Field and Shop Service Technician / CDL Pump Truck Driver to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine hands-on mechanical expertise with skilled driving of heavy-duty pump trucks, supporting both field operations and shop maintenance. Your proactive approach will help keep our operations running smoothly while delivering exceptional service to our customers. Responsibilities Operate CDL pump trucks safely and efficiently to Pump septic and grease traps and support field operations. 5 am start time, 8+ hour workday, can be adjusted by manager and employee

• responsible for vacuum truck driving and service of all liquid waste accounts, special pickups and emergency pickups possible
• organize and monitor cooking oil, grease and septic transfers
• assist with vehicle fleet operations, maintenance and condition
• Comfortable driving a manual transmission
• assist with shop organization
• Special projects as requested by manager(s) Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on vehicles, septic and grease trap pump stations.

Maintain detailed service records of repairs performed on equipment and vehicles; ensure all maintenance complies with safety standards. Follow all safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and vehicle driving; ensure compliance with DOT regulations for CDL drivers Excellent problem-solving skills combined with strong customer service abilities; able to communicate technical information clearly. Physically capable of heavy lifting; comfortable working in various environments including shop floors or outdoor job sites. Pay:

$29.00 - $33.00 per hour
