Field Fusion Technician

Job Description:

Fabricate and install HDPE pipe and fittings on customer job sites and possibly shop. Requires driving to customer sites, operating fusion equipment, and material handling equipment.

Essential Duties:

• Safely fabricates and installs product to customers satisfaction
• Maintains a clean work area and equipment
• Put away and organize equipment and materials
• Must maintain accurate documentation of work performed, material used, and equipment used
• Maintain a professional appearance
• Safely operate company vehicles, fusion equipment and lifting equipment
• Utilize a variety of hand tools, saws and cutting equipment
• Communicate professionally with customers
• Ability to work on-call for emergencies
• Available to work out-of-town with overnight travel on occasion
• Ability to work extended hours, holidays, and weekends when necessary
• Obey all company policies and safety procedures
• Performs other related duties as assigned
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to regulations and safety practices

Work Environment:

Continual exposure to all outdoor weather

Travel:

up to 75% Typically in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to temperature extremes, moving equipment, loud noise, dust and fumes

Physical Requirements:

• Requires continuous physical exertion such as walking, standing, squatting, bending, climbing, lifting and maneuvering material and equipment

Education:
