Job Description

Field service technician role focused on installing, diagnosing, repairing, testing, and supporting electronic equipment at customer sites. Job Requirements Associate degree in Electronics or related field, equivalent certificate program, or equivalent combination of education and experience 3 years of relevant field service, electronics, or equipment support experience Ability to work from schematics, diagrams, and layouts Experience using hand tools, multimeters, and oscilloscopes Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel Experience working with ERP or CRM software such as SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, or Infor Ability to install, inspect, repair, and test equipment components Ability to diagnose equipment issues and escalate complex problems when needed Ability to maintain detailed repair documentation Ability to work extended hours as required Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% Valid driver's license and personal motor vehicle Valid passport or ability to obtain a passport Ability to lift 50 lbs Preferred Skills Experience with three-phase AC power Experience with pneumatic systems Experience with PLC and VFD controls Experience with heating and refrigeration systems Experience supporting equipment with new features and upgrades Experience coordinating troubleshooting efforts across field support, customer, and internal teams Experience training or mentoring less experienced personnel Job Responsibilities Install equipment at customer sites, including systems with new features and upgrades Inspect, repair, and test equipment components for functionality and specification compliance Evaluate, diagnose, and repair equipment issues Escalate complex technical problems as needed Serve as a technical resource for customers regarding malfunctions and operational concerns Advise users on corrective actions and procedural improvements to reduce recurring issues Maintain and optimize equipment performance Support functionality improvements and recurring issue prevention Maintain detailed documentation of repair processes and troubleshooting activities Coordinate cross-functional efforts to troubleshoot, track, and resolve failed system components Provide technical support and mentorship to less experienced personnel as needed
Pay:
