Field Service Technician - Landscape Lighting

Experienced Landscape Lighting Service TechnicianSouthern Lights of Raleigh, Inc. Southern Lights of Raleigh Southern Lights of Raleigh is seeking an experienced, professional Landscape Lighting Service Technician to diagnose, repair, maintain, and upgrade high-end residential and commercial outdoor lighting systems throughout the Raleigh area. We are looking for a dependable, clean-cut technician who understands both low-voltage and line-voltage systems, works well independently, and takes pride in quality workmanship and customer service. About Us Southern Lights of Raleigh has specialized in distinctive landscape and architectural lighting since 1994. We design, install, maintain, and service premium outdoor lighting systems for residential and commercial properties throughout the Triangle area. Position Responsibilities Diagnose and repair landscape lighting systems

Troubleshoot:

Transformers LED lamps Wire faults Timers Photocells Relays Wi-Fi and smart controls Clean, adjust, and maintain lighting systems Repair fixture connections and replace damaged components Work with both: Low-voltage lighting systems 120V line-voltage circuits Program and troubleshoot lighting controls including: Lutron Caseta Insteon Control4 Digital and analog timers Astronomic timers Photocells Smart transformer systems Document service calls using Housecall Pro Maintain organized service vehicle inventory Communicate professionally with clients in the field Identify opportunities for system improvements and upgrades Requirements Minimum 3-5 years experience in landscape lighting service and repair Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Experience with LED lighting systems and controls Familiarity with field service software Experience using Housecall Pro preferred Knowledge of electrical safety practices Ability to work outdoors year-round Clean driving record Bondable Professional appearance and attitude Strong customer communication skills Self-motivated and dependable Preferred Skills Experience with architectural lighting systems Ability to read wiring diagrams Wi-Fi/network troubleshooting for smart controls Experience with irrigation or outdoor electrical systems a plus Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Performance bonus opportunities Paid vacation Paid sick leave Company vehicle for qualified technician Stable, year-round work Opportunity for advancement To Apply Please send your resume, work history, and references.
