Job Description

Job Summary As Director of Commercial FP&A, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy and performance of the organization. This highly visible leadership position partners closely with Commercial executives, Corporate FP&A, and cross-functional teams to deliver forward-looking insights and drive strategic decision-making. You'll lead a high-performing team responsible for financial planning, forecasting, and reporting, while providing executive-level analysis on business results, risks, and opportunities. Job Description Job Responsibilities:
Lead financial planning and forecasting for business areas, ensuring comprehensive processes that support strategic decision-making and long-term growth. Deliver monthly analysis of financial results, trends, and performance metrics, translating data into strategic insights and actionable recommendations for executive leadership. Oversee and continuously improve management reporting of financial results and KPIs, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and relevance for business decision-making. Lead the team in designing and delivering impactful financial reporting and analysis, prioritizing initiatives that drive business value. Oversee the development of both recurring and ad hoc reports to support evolving business needs. Serve as a key Finance representative in strategic initiatives involving organizational change or new technologies, evaluating financial implications and advising on optimal solutions. Build and lead a high-performing team through effective onboarding, coaching, and development. Foster a culture of engagement and accountability, ensuring the team is equipped with the skills and capacity to meet evolving business demands. Develop strategies to standardize, integrate and implement business process improvement solutions and IT solutions from a financial planning and reporting standpoint. Evaluate current practices and identify opportunities for improvement (technology or process). Lead analysis and support of merger and acquisition and other business development activities or business investments. Create and own cash flow models, paybacks, scenario modeling, and ROI analysis. Collaborate with Commercial and Finance leadership to shape and execute strategic initiatives that enhance profitability and advance the company's commercial objectives. Support Finance leadership and key business partners in ad hoc projects and other key business initiatives.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Education Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting Relevant Work Experience At least 8 years of experience in Finance in an FP&A organization At least 3 years of experience managing people, including hiring, developing, motivating and directing people as they work. Additional Advance knowledge level of finance and finance business processes. Ability to create and enhance business partner relationships. Merger & Acquisition or Business Development experience with Financial modeling.
Preferred Job Qualifications:

The anticipated salary range for this position: $154,000.00 - $231,000.00 Annual The actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold. Our benefit package includes health insurance, life and disability, 401(k) contributions, paid time off, etc., for employees working 30 or more hours per week on average. For roles where employees work less than 30 hours per week, benefits include 401(k) contributions, paid time off, as well as access to the Employee Assistance Program, Employee Resource Groups and the Employee Service Corp.
