This role will take ownership of key accounting functions across a growing, multi-entity organization and will play an important part in supporting the company's continued expansion. This is more than a traditional month-end close position. The Senior Accountant will work across multiple locations and entities, analyze financial results, improve accounting processes, partner with teams throughout the organization, and support acquisitions and integrations. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems, improving processes, and working in a fast-paced environment where the accounting function continues to evolve. Key Responsibilities Lead month-end and year-end close activities for assigned entities and locations. Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger activity. Reconcile accounts receivable, cash, credit card activity, intercompany accounts, disbursements, and other balance sheet accounts. Prepare accurate and well-supported account analyses and clearing account reconciliations. Analyze financial results, identify trends and variances, and communicate findings to Finance and operational leaders. Research accounting issues and recommend appropriate solutions. Ensure accounting activity is completed accurately and in accordance with GAAP and company policies. Required Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience. Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, general ledger accounting, and reconciliations. Experience with month-end and year-end close. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience working with accounting and financial systems. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively with both Finance and non-Finance stakeholders. Why Consider This Opportunity? This position offers the opportunity to join a growing organization where you can have a meaningful impact on the accounting function. You will gain exposure to multiple areas of the business, work closely with Finance and operational leadership, participate in acquisition and integration activity, and help build scalable processes as the organization continues to expand.
