This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to develop a career in public accounting and gain hands-on experience in tax, accounting, payroll, and client services. Key Responsibilities Prepare individual income tax returns, business tax returns, including S corporations, C corporations, and partnerships Perform bookkeeping and monthly account reconciliations Prepare and process payroll and sales tax returns Assist with year-end accounting and tax adjustments Prepare financial statements and supporting workpapers Assist with tax notices and correspondence Communicate with clients to obtain tax and accounting information Maintain accurate and organized client files and documentation Assist senior accountants and CPAs with tax planning and special projects Perform other accounting and tax-related duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 2+ years of accounting or tax experience Bilingual in English and Chinese is a must Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines Good written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Previous experience with a CPA or tax firm is a plus QuickBooks and Lacerte experience is a plus What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Health insurance Retirement plan Paid vacation and holidays Schedule Full-time, Monday through Friday.
