Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting activities to support the institution's financial operations with accuracy and timeliness.
- Process and monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring proper documentation and follow-through.
- Prepare account and bank reconciliations to verify balances and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Record journal entries and maintain the integrity of the general ledger across routine accounting cycles.
- Assist with month-end close tasks, including reviewing activity, organizing supporting schedules, and helping finalize financial records.
- Use Blackbaud Financial Edge to enter, track, and manage accounting data and reporting needs.
- Collaborate with internal team members to address accounting issues, improve workflow consistency, and support departmental priorities.
