Reach out via LinkedIn or email to start a conversation. A growing private equity investment firm with approximately $1B in AUM is seeking a Fund Controller to join its lean, entrepreneurial team. With the opportunity to support a growing investment platform and its next fund launch, this role offers significant ownership and visibility across the firm's fund accounting and finance operations. It's an ideal opportunity for someone ready to step into a true Controller-level position, broaden their technical expertise, and take on greater responsibility as the firm continues to scale. The Opportunity Reporting to the CFO, the Fund Controller will oversee fund and management company accounting while partnering closely with senior leadership, Legal, Investor Relations, and other internal teams. This is a highly visible role with broad exposure across the platform and significant opportunity to shape processes as the firm continues to grow. Key Responsibilities

+ Oversee fund and management company accounting, financial reporting, and related operations

+ Partner with the CFO and senior leadership on accounting, valuation, and financial matters

+ Support investor reporting, LP inquiries, and operational due diligence

+ Research complex accounting issues and develop practical solutions

+ Collaborate with the front office and gain exposure to the valuation process

+ Mentor and eventually manage the Accounting Manager and Senior Accountant

+ Help enhance processes and controls as the firm launches its next fund Requirements + 12+ years of relevant accounting experience, ideally across private equity fund and management company accounting

+ Private equity experience strongly preferred; venture capital or credit backgrounds also considered

+ Tax experience is a plus, but not required

+ Hands-on, analytical approach with strong problem-solving skills

+ Excellent communication skills and confidence interacting with senior executives and LPs
