Associate Manager Job Overview OTA America is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee subsidiary accounting operations, financial closing, and performance analysis. In this role, you will manage day-to-day AR/AP, handle monthly/annual closing, analyze profit & loss (P&L), and maintain closing systems. You will also support cross-functional accounting tasks and ad-hoc operational needs as the department expands. Key Responsibilities 1. Subsidiary AR/AP & Expense Management Oversee Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) operations for subsidiaries, ensuring timely billing, collections, and vendor payments. Review employee expense reports, post journal entries, and maintain general ledger accuracy. Reconcile intercompany accounts and manage cross-entity settlement transactions. 2. Financial Closing & Profitability Analysis Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes for assigned subsidiaries. Prepare, analyze, and report on Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, highlighting cost variances and profitability drivers. Perform Balance Sheet reconciliations and ensure audit-ready documentation. 3. Financial Systems & Process Optimization Maintain accounting data within ERP system and monitor closing schedules to ensure deadlines are met. Assist in refining internal controls, closing procedures, and reporting workflows. 4. General Accounting & Ad-hoc Operations Support external financial audits, tax filings, and compliance requests. Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analyses requested by executive management or HQ. Perform other business-critical accounting and administrative duties as required by company needs.
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
Experience:
3-6 years of relevant accounting experience (U.S. corporate accounting preferred).
Language:
Bilingual fluency in English and Korean (written and verbal) is required to communicate effectively with HQ and local vendors.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in ERP accounting systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, QuickBooks, or equivalent). Advanced MS Excel capabilities (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling). Preferred Qualifications Active CPA (AICPA) license or candidate status. Proven track record in subsidiary management or intercompany accounting. Strong multitasking abilities and flexibility to adapt to evolving business priorities.
