Job Description
- Perform fixed asset accounting activities, including tracking, reviewing, and maintaining accurate asset records.
- Prepare bank reconciliations and research discrepancies to support accurate cash reporting.
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations and assist with month-end close activities.
- Analyze accounting data using advanced Microsoft Excel functions and reporting tools.
- Support general accounting operations, documentation, and process improvements.
- Partner with internal teams to resolve accounting issues and meet recurring deadlines. Compensation and Benefits
- Pay range: $25.00 to $35.00 per hour.
- Job type: Contract/Temporary. Required Qualifications and Skills
- Manage fixed asset accounting processes and related documentation.
- Prepare bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Support month-end accounting activities and financial reporting accuracy.
- Use advanced Excel skills to analyze, organize, and validate accounting data.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Approximately 2 to 5 years of accounting experience.
- Strong experience with fixed assets, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain accuracy, and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a professional accounting environment. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with accounting software or ERP systems.
- Prior accounting experience within an engineering services or project-based business environment.
