Job Description
Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to provide accounting support on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate will have strong general accounting experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities. Key Responsibilities
+ Perform daily general accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records
+ Prepare and post journal entries
+ Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
+ Perform bank, credit card, and account reconciliations
+ Assist with month-end and year-end close
+ Review and maintain general ledger accounts
+ Prepare financial reports and accounting schedules
+ Research and resolve account discrepancies
+ Assist with accruals, prepaid expenses, and other balance sheet activities
+ Support audit requests and provide documentation as needed
+ Maintain organized accounting files and supporting documentation
+ Assist with special accounting projects as assigned Requirements 2+ years of Staff Accountant or general accounting experience Solid understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles Experience with journal entries and account reconciliations Strong Microsoft Excel skills Experience with accounting software/ERP systems Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to meet deadlines and work independently Strong communication and problem-solving skills Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
