The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling bank and credit card accounts, and processing payroll. This role requires proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online, and a strong understanding of accounting principles. The Accountant will play a vital role in ensuring precise financial reporting and compliance with regulatory standards. Duties Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded using QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations to verify financial data accuracy Prepare journal entries to record payroll expenses Process payroll and related tax payments Process accounts payable Conduct balance sheet reconciliations Generate financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets Maintain organized records of all financial transactions for audit purposes Skills Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online Strong understanding of GAAP, double-entry bookkeeping, and general ledger accounting Experience with bank reconciliation, account reconciliation, and journal entries Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and tax preparation processes Ability to analyze financial data accurately and prepare comprehensive financial reports Effective communication skills and customer service This position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to our organization's continued growth while working within a professional environment that values accuracy, integrity, and customer support.
