Job Description
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close.
- Manage corporate credit card accounting, reconciliations, documentation, and related expense support.
- Assist with budget-to-actual reporting, variance analysis, and financial reporting activities.
- Support Accounts Payable processes, including invoice review, coding, vendor reconciliations, and payment processing.
- Assist with Accounts Receivable functions, including invoicing, payment posting, account maintenance, and customer account support.
- Support audits, special accounting projects, and process improvement initiatives that increase accuracy and operational efficiency. Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $70,000 to $85,000 per year.

Goleta, CA. Required Qualifications and Skills- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and schedules.
- Assist with financial reporting, variance analysis, and audit support.
- Provide cross-functional accounting support for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of accounting experience preferred for this Staff Accountant level role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, corporate accounting, and general ledger functions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience using ERP or accounting systems.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy and deadlines.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments. Preferred Qualifications
- NetSuite experience.
- Experience in a technology, manufacturing, or high-growth environment.
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing priorities, and take on expanded responsibilities.
- Interest in process improvement, automation, and accounting efficiency initiatives.
