In this role, you will be responsible for managing a wide range of accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial standards and regulations. , along with proficiency in various financial software, will be essential to support our organization's financial health and operational efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply skills and contribute to the integrity of our financial reporting. Responsibilities Prepare, review, and analyze journal entries, account reconciliations, and balance sheet statements to maintain accurate financial records. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes using software such as Paychex, ADP, or UltiPro to ensure timely payments and collections. Conduct detailed data entry and Excel data analysis to support financial reporting and audit processes. Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act), and other regulatory standards across all accounting activities. Utilize various accounting systems including QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft, or Ceridian for efficient financial management. Support month-end closing procedures, including account analysis and double-entry bookkeeping. Handle confidential information with integrity while providing excellent customer service to internal teams and external auditors. Requirements Proven experience in accounting or finance roles. Proficiency in financial software such as Quickbooks with Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel is essential. Familiarity with technical accounting concepts including journal entries, account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and account analysis. Knowledge of payroll systems like ADP experience with time management systems Strong numeracy skills combined with excellent math abilities for accurate data entry and financial calculations. Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially while demonstrating strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication skills coupled with a customer service mindset to collaborate effectively across departments.
