Job Description
- Maintain and enter financial data within QuickBooks and ERP system
- Support A/P and A/R processes including invoice review, and vendor/cust coordination
- Assist with account reconciliations, expense reporting, and transaction verification
- Prepare and maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation
- Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting activities
- Assist with journal entries and financial data reviews under the guidance of the Corporate Controller
- Track project costs, labor charges, and program-related financial activity
- Generate reports and financial summaries for leadership and program teams
- Review accounting data for discrepancies or inconsistencies and escalate issues as needed
- Support budget preparation, forecasting activities, and internal financial analysis
- Assist with audit preparation and collection of supporting financial documentation
- Maintain spreadsheets, tracking systems, and finance-related administrative tools
- Provide operational and administrative support to the finance organization as needed Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1+ years of accounting experience including internships or entry-level finance roles
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
- Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks and ECI M1
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance
