Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Record and post journal entries in the general ledger while assisting with period-end and program close activities.
- Review account activity, investigate discrepancies, and complete bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
- Track financial transactions and supporting documentation for designated programs, including grant- and fund-related accounts.
- Prepare invoices and billing documentation for assigned programs in accordance with reporting and funding requirements.
- Compile and submit financial reports for oversight agencies, including reporting connected to government programs.
- Maintain organized accounting records and ensure program files are current, complete, and audit ready.
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes by verifying transactions and helping resolve routine issues.
