$95, 000/year Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. This role is responsible for managing general accounting functions, month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting support, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and able to manage multiple priorities while meeting strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Essential Responsibilities Prepare monthly financial statements, journal entries, account reconciliations, and management reports, including trial balances, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements. Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes. Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages using financial consolidation software. Reconcile Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and subsidiary ledgers to the General Ledger. Prepare and reconcile related-party transactions, receivables, and payables. Prepare sales and use tax schedules and other required tax and compliance reports. Provide supporting documentation and schedules for internal and external audits. Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting processes. Generate recurring and ad hoc financial reports, including headcount reports, sales analysis, cost of sales, departmental budget-to-actual reports, and intercompany reporting. Upload financial data, budgets, and forecasts into financial reporting systems and resolve upload errors as needed. Perform trend analysis on warranty costs, product returns, and bad debt. Maintain fixed asset records, process asset additions and disposals, and reconcile fixed asset transactions. Calculate sales commissions for sales representatives and regional sales managers. Prepare monthly backlog, bookings, sales actuals, and forecast reports using business partner input. Assist with recurring monthly journal entries and other accounting functions. Collaborate with department managers to support company goals and ensure spending aligns with budget expectations. Perform financial analysis, reconciliations, special projects, and other accounting duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. 3-7 years of general accounting experience. Manufacturing industry experience preferred. Experience with ERP systems such as JDE is a plus. Strong understanding of
U.S. GAAP.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, macros, and complex formulas. Experience with financial reporting and budgeting software is a plus. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality. Dependable attendance and strong sense of ownership over assigned responsibilities. Preferred Skills Budgeting and forecasting experience. Financial statement preparation and analysis. Audit support experience. Fixed asset accounting knowledge. Sales commission calculation experience. Strong critical thinking and variance analysis skills.
