Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
▪ Prepare journal entries and monthly, quarter and annual closing reports.
▪ Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations, identifying and rectifying errors.
▪ Prepare and process monthly Sales & Used tax
Accounts Payable:
▪ Plan and Process weekly check runs.
▪ Collaborate with purchasing and receiving departments to resolve invoice discrepancies.
▪ Prepare and process 1099's
Fixed Assets and Audit:
▪ Maintain and reconcile fixed assets schedules.
▪ Assist in preparation of year-end audit schedules and other special projects as directed by the Assistant Controller.
▪ Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and accounting standards.
Required Qualifications :
A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting At least 2 years experience as an Accountant, preferably in manufacturing.
