Hours will be between 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday-Friday, open to various schedules. The Staff Accountant reports to the Controller and is responsible for various aspects of the accounting cycle. Staff Accountant responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Prepare and process billing to third parties including 695 CAM, customers, Hudson News, and Paseo Monitor and report daily bank balances and outstanding items, including distribution of weekly cash flow statements Upload checks to the bank for Positive Pay processing Assist with balance sheet reconciliations as needed Prepare and enter general ledger journal entries in Sage Verify and post daily POS activity to the general ledger Process and maintain records of credit card chargebacks Complete monthly bank reconciliations, excluding payroll accounts Enter All Sheets data for all store locations into Sage Enter and maintain the annual budget in Sage Prepare the annual CAM reconciliation for the 695 building Perform other duties assigned. The ideal candidate has at least some college level coursework in accounting. They bring a strong attention to detail, are highly organized, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Prior accounting/bookkeeping experience or current college enrollment in an accounting program is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required. We're looking for someone dependable, eager to learn, positive in attitude, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
