Senior Accountant Full-Time Engagement Professional (FTEP) | Robert Half Build Your Career While Expanding Your Expertise Are you a Senior Accountant who enjoys solving complex accounting challenges, driving process improvements, and making an immediate impact? Join Robert Half's Full-Time Engagement Professionals (FTEP) practice, where you receive the stability of full-time employment while gaining exposure to diverse companies, industries, systems, and accounting environments. As a Senior Accountant in our FTEP practice, you will support clients on critical accounting initiatives, lead month-end close activities, assist with financial reporting, optimize processes, and provide expertise during periods of growth, transition, system implementations, or special projects. What You'll Do

+ Lead month-end and year-end close processes

+ Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements

+ Analyze balance sheet and income statement activity

+ Assist with SEC, external audit, and compliance requirements when applicable

+ Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

+ Identify process improvements and strengthen internal controls

+ Participate in ERP implementations, system upgrades, and accounting transformation projects

+ Support M& A integrations, acquisitions, and special projects

+ Ensure GAAP compliance and accounting accuracy

+ Partner with finance, operations, and executive leadership teams Requirements Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field + 4+ years of progressive accounting experience

+ Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting

+ Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation

+ Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis

+ Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Workday, or similar platforms

+ CPA or CPA-track preferred

+ Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
