Job Summary Job Summary Under the supervision of the Chief Business Official, the accountant performs accounting work, assist with budget preparation and fiscal matters by maintaining journals and the general ledger for all funds; reconciling accounting reports; preparing the monthly cash report; initiating journal entries for budget and financial reporting, direct support program costs and transfer, accrual and revisions; calculating district revenue for budget purposes; analyzing income and expenditure records; and other related tasks to support the business department.
