Job Summary Are you an experienced accountant who can independently close the books, resolve discrepancies, and turn financial records into accurate, useful reports? Enviroblind is seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant to manage full-cycle accounting and payroll across our group of related businesses. This is an opportunity to work directly with company leadership, take ownership of meaningful accounting responsibilities, and help improve how our businesses manage and understand their financial performance. Advanced QuickBooks proficiency and direct experience processing payroll through ADP are required. We welcome experienced Senior Accountants, Accounting Managers, and Full-Charge Bookkeepers who can demonstrate independent ownership of month-end close, balance-sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting. Your capabilities matter more than your previous job title. What You Will Do Manage full-cycle accounting and month-end close. Maintain accurate general ledgers, prepare journal entries and adjusting entries, reconcile accounts, and complete monthly closing activities. Prepare and review financial reports. Produce profit-and-loss statements, balance sheets, and supporting schedules. Investigate unusual balances and explain results clearly to management. Own account reconciliations. Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, payroll liabilities, and other balance-sheet accounts. Research discrepancies, document corrections, and resolve outstanding items. Process and reconcile ADP payroll. Work from approved payroll records, review payroll registers, resolve discrepancies, and ensure payroll activity is properly recorded in QuickBooks. Maintain accurate accounts payable, accounts receivable, and intercompany records. Review aging reports, track transactions between related businesses, and support cash-flow planning. Support year-end reporting and improve accounting procedures. Coordinate with our outside accounting professionals, prepare supporting schedules, maintain organized documentation, and strengthen accounting processes and internal controls. Required Qualifications Independent full-cycle accounting experience , including responsibility for month-end close, journal entries, balance-sheet reconciliations, and financial statement preparation. Advanced QuickBooks skills , including account reconciliation, error correction, financial reporting, and maintaining accurate accounting records. Hands-on ADP payroll processing experience , including reviewing payroll reports, researching discrepancies, and reconciling payroll activity to the general ledger. Strong ownership and communication skills , including reliable follow-through, attention to detail, discretion with confidential information, and the ability to manage recurring deadlines. Preferred Qualifications Experience with multiple related companies, intercompany reconciliations, inventory accounting, or job costing is especially valuable. Experience in manufacturing, distribution, construction, or another operationally focused business is helpful but not required. An accounting degree or related education is preferred. Substantial, directly relevant accounting experience will also be considered. A CPA license is not required.
Pay:
$35.00 - $50.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
