Job Description
Responsibilities:
Manage group billing activities, ensuring charges, adjustments, and supporting documentation are processed accurately and on time. Prepare and post journal entries while maintaining the integrity of the general ledger and related account balances. Review financial transactions for completeness and accuracy, resolving discrepancies in coordination with internal stakeholders. Support routine accounting operations by reconciling accounts and helping maintain organized financial records. Work within established departmental procedures to complete daily, weekly, and monthly accounting tasks efficiently. Assist hotel finance leadership with reporting needs and other accounting support tied to hospitality operations. Use Opera and related systems to research billing details, update records, and help streamline accounting workflows when needed. At least 3 years of accounting experience, including hands-on work with journal entries and general ledger activity. Prior experience handling billing functions, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting. Familiarity with Opera or similar hospitality accounting or property management systems. Working knowledge of standard accounting practices and departmental operating procedures. Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities accurately. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with finance and operational teams.
