Key Responsibilities Financial Management:
Manage full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of homeowner associations (HOAs), ensuring precise and timely financial reporting.
Accounts Receivable & Payable:
Oversee the collection of homeowner dues, process vendor invoices, and manage bank reconciliations.
Budgeting & Analysis:
Assist community managers and board members in preparing annual budgets and analyzing financial variances.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare, review, and distribute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for HOAs.
Community Connection:
Provide clear, kind, and helpful support to board members and homeowners who have questions about their financial accounts.
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience:
2+ years of accounting experience (property management or HOA accounting experience is a major plus, but not required).
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Excel and property management software (e.g., AppFolio, Yardi, RealPage, SmartWebs, or TOPS) is preferred.
Communication:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial data simply and kindly.
