Sr. Accountant

Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Loveland, Colorado. As part of this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in supporting the organization's financial operations with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities:

• Oversee and execute month-end closing activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring all entries are properly recorded and categorized.
• Prepare and post journal entries while verifying supporting documentation for accuracy.
• Perform account reconciliations to identify discrepancies and ensure financial data integrity.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve any variances promptly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial audits and compliance efforts.
• Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights and support budgeting processes.
• Ensure adherence to accounting principles and company policies in all financial activities.
• Assist in refining and improving accounting procedures to enhance operational efficiency. Requirements
• Proven experience in month-end close processes and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger maintenance and journal entry preparation.
• Proficiency in performing account and bank reconciliations with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with accounting standards and regulations applicable to the manufacturing industry.
• Advanced skills in financial analysis and the ability to interpret complex data.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong communication abilities to collaborate with teams and present financial findings.
• Proficiency in accounting software and tools relevant to the role.
