VP of Finance About the Opportunity A growing and established distribution company is seeking an AR Accountant to join its accounting team. This position supports daily accounting operations with a primary focus on accounts receivable, customer account management, cash applications, and general accounting support. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and motivated to contribute in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Primary Responsibilities Responsibilities will be assigned based on team workload and may include: Prepare and process customer invoices accurately and on a timely basis Review daily bank activity and record customer payments Process daily bank deposits Process customer credit card transactions as needed Perform customer accounts receivable reconciliations Monitor collections activity and follow up on outstanding balances and inquiries Process customer credit applications Handle customer trade credit inquiries Provide accounts payable data entry support Assist with month-end close activities Support annual financial reporting requirements and external audits Participate in special projects and other ad hoc assignments as needed Provide general accounting and administrative support to the finance team Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field 2+ years of accounting or accounts receivable experience Understanding of inventory, sales order, and purchase order processes NetSuite experience preferred Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders Self-starter with a positive attitude and strong work ethic Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment EB-1870042833
