Senior Accountant $110,000 – $ 120,000 About the Opportunity Our client is a successful and growing manufacturing company with a strong track record of year-over-year performance. They are seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team and play a key role in supporting the company's accounting and financial operations. Highlights Opportunity to join a company that hires very well and surrounds its employees with "A" players Clear path for internal growth and career advancement Strong bonus plan and generous benefits package Significant autonomy and ownership in the role — ideal for someone who enjoys driving change, improving processes, and taking initiative Join a successful manufacturing company that has consistently performed well year after year Responsibilities Manage and oversee key areas of the general ledger and month-end close process Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and management reports Perform account reconciliations and investigate variances and discrepancies Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Partner with operations and other departments to improve financial processes and reporting Identify opportunities to streamline accounting procedures, strengthen internal controls, and improve efficiency Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory, and cost accounting activities as needed Assist with annual audits, tax reporting, and other external financial requirements Provide financial insight and analysis to support business decision-making Take ownership of accounting projects and process improvements Maintain compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards Perform other accounting and finance duties as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 4+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting Manufacturing or cost accounting experience strongly preferred Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial analysis Strong Excel skills and experience working with accounting/ERP systems Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines Self-starter with a continuous-improvement mindset Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across departments Why Join?
