Job Description
- Work with the Controller in establishing and maintaining project specific financial reporting systems and controls, for timely and accurate projections to be used in the work in progress schedule.
- Review and process owner and subcontractor change orders for cost code accuracy. Must have solid understanding of the change order cycle, including but not limited to change events, budget coding, potential change order, prime contract change order and subcontractor commitment change orders.
- Financial accountability and stewardship to identify and work with Operations in ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
- Must posses advanced Microsoft Suite skills to utilize in day to day tasks as well as developing new tools to prepare and analyze information more efficiently and effectively.
- Serve as a back up to Accounts Payable and Payroll.
- Prepare and reconcile trial balance account schedules, including but not limited to fixed asset schedule, bank reconciliations, as well as assisting with the preparation of timely monthly financial statements with variance analysis on revenue and expense accounts.
- Miscellaneous new assignments to facilitate continued growth within the organization.
