Education Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required CPA certification not required Company support available for employees interested in pursuing CPA certification in the future Experience Requirements 2-3 years of accounting experience required Manufacturing accounting experience is a plus Internship or co-op experience in accounting, manufacturing, or operations finance is preferred Job Duties Perform monthly close activities Prepare and post journal entries Complete account reconciliations Assist with financial reporting and analysis Maintain accurate financial records and documentation Support accounting and finance team initiatives Ensure compliance with company accounting procedures and policies Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in accounting, financial analysis, auditing, budgeting, or corporate finance is preferred. Experience with ERP systems, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar accounting software is beneficial. Knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, tax preparation, compliance, or internal controls is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate professionalism, analytical thinking, accuracy, and strong organizational skills are well positioned for success as a Accountant. Physical Capabilities Ability to remain seated and work at a computer for extended periods. Ability to review detailed financial documents and perform accurate data analysis. Ability to occasionally lift office materials weighing up to 25 pounds. Ability to perform normal office duties while maintaining productivity and attention to detail throughout the workday.
