Staff Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and assist with the month-end close process. This role will work closely with senior accounting staff and leadership, contributing to accurate financial reporting and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Support month-end and year-end close, including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations + Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations; research and resolve discrepancies + Assist with general ledger maintenance, including posting and reviewing transactions + Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed + Prepare and analyze financial reports, schedules, and variances + Assist with audit support, including gathering documentation and responding to requests + Maintain accurate and organized financial records in accordance with company policies + Participate in process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy within accounting operations

Requirements Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field + 1-3+ years of accounting experience (public or private) + Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (GL, reconciliations, month-end close) + Experience with accounting software/ERP systems + Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs preferred) + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills + Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Preferred:
