Position Overview The Staff Accountant will support a Business Unit or functional area by recording and reporting financial transactions, performing account reconciliations, supporting the monthly close, and ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements. This role also partners with FP&A and other business functions on financial analysis, budgeting, reporting, internal controls, and process improvements. Key Responsibilities Support the monthly financial statement close process, ensuring transactions are recorded accurately and timely. Analyze financial statements, account activity, and variances; identify trends and potential issues. Prepare, review, and analyze account reconciliations while ensuring compliance with SOX control requirements. Prepare monthly reporting packages, including analysis of current results compared with prior periods. Assist with accounting, analysis, and budgeting activities in partnership with FP&A. Work closely with operating units and cross-functional teams to resolve accounting and reporting questions. Partner with internal and external auditors and provide requested documentation and support. Assist with special projects and the implementation of changes to

accounting standards. Identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen internal controls, and increase efficiency. Support regulatory compliance and business planning through financial analysis and reporting. Prepare accurate and well-documented workpapers, disclosures, and accounting memorandums as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field. 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience. Strong understanding of accounting principles, FASB/GAAP, and SOX compliance. Ability to prepare and maintain detailed workpapers, disclosures, and accounting documentation. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to use technology to improve accounting and reporting processes. Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to collaborate with accounting, finance, and operational teams. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and integrity. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated initiative, professionalism, and sound judgment.
