full-time We are seeking a self-motivated Staff Accountant to join our client in the real estate industry. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and have had an internship in a relevant Accounting or Finance role. This position will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, reconciling GL balances & bank accounts and assisting with invoice processing & posting. Key Responsibilities Perform daily and monthly general ledger reconciliations for multiple balances Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and account analysis Ensure accuracy of bank account transactions for various business units Process, verify, and prepare invoices and expenses Assist with annual audits, tax preparation, and regulatory filings Maintain documentation to support accounting procedures and internal controls Participate in process improvements and contribute to efficiency initiatives within the accounting department Qualification Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business is required Familiarity with US GAAP and accounting practices and ability to apply that knowledge to daily responsibilities Proficiency in accounting software and excitement to learn new systems Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills to manipulate data and work with complex spreadsheets Excellent organizational and communication skilsl Self-motivated to work independently as well as being a valued member of a team
