Job Description
POSITION
AccountantII ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- : Posts charges to member accounts from food & beverage and pro shop sales; processes member payments received; prepares monthly statements and mails out; responds to member inquiries; processes necessary adjustments to accounts; prepares bank deposit
- : Audits and posts daily restaurant register sales to General Ledger; audits banquet function bills; maintains Excel spreadsheet summarizing daily food & beverage sales; keeps record of Banquet deposits received and used; deposits Banquet checks to bank using check reader or prepares bank deposit for cash
- : Maintains supply of standard office supplies; combines requests from departments and places weekly order
- Reconciles monthly bank statement for F&B account
- Maintains postage machine and copier
- Performs as receptionist, greeting walk in guests, answering phone calls to Administration (other departments are redirected by the automated attendant)
Miscellaneous:
Assists with daily Proshop activity by sorting sales invoices (e.g., credit card sales, member charges, cash sales); reviews tickets to ensure backup attached for coupons, hotel vouchers, gift certificates, etc.; mails out A/P checks.REPORTS TO
ControllerREQUIREMENTS
- College degree not required but A.S. preferred or strong related experience
- Experience with computerized accounting programs, (e.g. Quickbooks, Ezlinks)
- Excel spreadsheet intermediate level
- Previous Accounts Receivable experience Pleasant phone voice and manner
