full-time We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. This role will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting the month-end and year-end close processes, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting policies and applicable regulations. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and comfortable working independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to take ownership of key financial processes and contribute to the continued growth of the organization. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain accurate general ledger accounts and financial records. Prepare and post journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end closing activities. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. Perform bank, credit card, balance sheet, and other account reconciliations. Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash management activities as needed. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and variances. Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and applicable accounting regulations. Assist with annual audits, tax filings, and other external reporting requirements. Develop and improve accounting processes, procedures, and internal controls. Collaborate with Finance, Operations, HR, and other departments to support business objectives. Assist with special projects and other accounting-related responsibilities as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience. Strong knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles. Experience with month-end and year-end close processes. Strong Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and financial analysis. Experience working with accounting software or ERP systems. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
