This role will support the Accounting/Finance department with daily processing of accounts payable invoices and reconcilement of vendor statements, assist with the reconcilement of bank accounts and credit card statements, perform research on accounting questions/issues, assist reconcilement of general ledger accounts for financial statement reporting purposes. Duties and Responsibilities

• Properly code invoices to ensure accurate construction job cost records. Specific attention to details for coding to the correct job, cost code, community and date.
• Matching of invoices to PO's recognizing variances and ensuring proper follow up.
• Analyze invoices for accuracy.
• Perform Credit Card reconciliations.
• Potentially prepare or backup weekly timecard consolidation and coding of payroll to direct job costs.
• Perform analysis of activity and validate balances in general ledger accounts.
• Develop skills to understand the accounting and ERP systems to facilitate improving efficiencies.
• Assist in job cost review and margin analysis.
• Support ad hoc projects, analysis and initiatives.

Required Experience/Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related discipline, or high school diploma with collegiate degree in process.
• Excellent proficiency and aptitude in systems, including MicroSoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Adobe, Teams and other common business applications.
• Professional demeanor, demonstrates excellent judgement, common sense and ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.
• Open to direction, suggestions and commitment to get the job done.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Excellent communication skills.

Pay:

$40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
